If you feel that your tool is not cutting as well as usual, sharpen it right away!
How to sharpen pruning tools?
- Use a good sharpening tool, such as our tool #600019, for all of your pruning tools.
- Maintain the same factory bevel or angle of the cutting edge when do sharpening.
- File the bevel edge from the pivot toward the tip in four or five times.
- File the flat side of the blade once, with the file against the blade, to remove burrs caused by sharpening.
